Made in the Draa Valley in Morocco, Tamegroute pottery gets its name from the village where it is made. Clay gathered from the banks of the river in the Draa Valley is hand-formed and then glazed and fired at high temperatures in large pits. Because of the hand-made nature of this pottery and the crafting process no two pieces are alike.
